Description
ACC AMIC/PKB is issuing this notification to inform the public of changes to the existing no-cost agreement between PROCON and the Air Force due to internal ACC/AFSOC reorganization. The agreement is being reissued under a new contracting office. Agreement FA0021-05-H-0001 will be replaced by Agreement FA4890-07-H-0001, and agreement administration will transfer from HQ AFSOC/LGCQ (Hurlburt Field, FL) to ACC AMIC/PKB, (Langley AFB, VA). In addition, the period of performance is being extended. The new period of performance end date will be changed from 2 Jan 2008 to 2 Jan 2010. These changes are expected to take effect by 1 Mar 2007. Under this no-cost agreement, PROCON is designated as a Rescue Sub Center (RSC) of the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center (AFRCC). Under the terms of the agreement, PROCON is required to meet or exceed the general responsibilities and major actions required in the Statement of Work (SOW) to include: Bearing all costs for initial certification, annual inspections, software and or hardware modification, and to contract separately with EMS Technologies as required. 406 MHz beacons marketed and sold by the contractor must conform to the intent and specifications as required by the Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations Parts 80, 87, and 95 as well as be COSPAS-SARSAT Type Approved. Inquiries or responses from interested parties must be received in our office no later than 15 Feb 2007. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-FEB-2007).
