- Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to renovate 8 South, Bldg 1 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The Contractor should completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition, removal of existing equipment. Included in the demolition is the removal of asbestos materials. The project includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work. All work shall be done in accordance with drawings and specifications provided. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code is 236220. Completion time for this project is 210 days. The estimated cost range is $1,000,000 - $2,000,000.00. The tentative issue date is 5-18-07. The bid opening date will be 6-18-07. A walk thru will be conducted on 6-7-07. All requests for bid packages must be submitted in writing along with a non-refundable check in the amount of $75.00. Make check payable to "VA Medcial Center Agent Cashier". Mail check to the following address: VA Medical Center, Attn: Debra Fisher (90C), University & Woodland Aves., Philadelphia, PA 19104. This project will be bid all inclusive. There is a limited number of packages available. This solicitation cannot be download from the Internet. No fax request will be accepted.
