Description: This is to modify and amend previous information regarding the pending solicitation for the Secondary, Sight Assembly. The current issue date for release of the Request For Proposal (RFP) is now anticipated to be on or about 22 May 2007, with Offero r's responses due within 30 days, which will be on or about 21 June 2007. The evaluation criteria for award under this solicitation has been modified and shall now be based on utilizing a Best Value Source Selection process, that will be based on informat ion as submitted by each Offeror under this solicitation. The Government intends to make an award to the vendor whose proposal represents the best value to the Government, based on a combined evaluation of past performance and price. This solicitation w ill require range pricing over 3 yearly periods based on the contract type being an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract will include a First Article Test and CARC painting. This solicitation will also require as a minim um, the higher level contract quality standards of I.S.O. 9001-2000, and Offerors will be required to certify they are compliant with those standards. This solicitation will also require Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tagging.
