- Description
- This solicitation is for the procurement of various sizes of portable, reusable radiation shielding. This is an annual requirement with a possibility of 4 one year option periods. Receipt and inspection will take place at the contractor?s facility. All temp shields will be delivered by the government in contractor provided shipping containers. The containers will have to meet the requirements for international shipping. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. A technical proposal along with bid samples will be required with each proposal. This shall be an unrestricted solicitation and will not be a commercial acquisition. All certified, responsible businesses may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISC. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax request will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Electronic submission of proposals is not available at this time. Facsimile proposals will not be accepted. The solicitation is not available at this time. The solicitation is expected to be posted at https://www.neco.navy.mil no later than 1 June 2007.
