- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for concrete requirements for Fort Drum, NY. The successful contractor will furnish all supervision, plant, labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with construction of new and the demolition/repair and/or replacement of existing concrete structures, e.g., sidewalks, stairs, slabs, curbs, gutters, ramps roadway sections, etc., and the associated work in accordance with the statement of work, specifications, and drawings. The contract type shall be a Requirements Contract (per FAR subsection 16.503) with Options (per FAR subsection 17.2), with a 5-year (base year and four one-year option periods) value estimated between $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. This procurement is 100% set-aside for certified HUBZone Small Business Concerns. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 238110 with a size standard of $13.0 million. Any correspondence concerning this acqui sition shall reference IFB Number W911S2-07-B-0001. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 08 June 2007. The due date for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance, posting on the Fort Drum Contracting web page at http://www .drum.army.mil/sites/directorates/doc-solicitations.asp. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The IFB and any subsequent amendments will only be available electronically by accessing either Federal Business Opportunities at http://vsearch2.fbo.gov/servlet/SearchServlet or the Fort Drum Contracting page web page at http://www.drum.army.mil/sites/directorates/doc-solicitations.asp. No hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor these site s for the IFB and amendments. The bid must be submitted in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY. No electronic bids will be accepted.
