- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Smith's Aerospace (93366) for a quantity of ten (10) each of a Detailed Functional description Documentation Package (DFDDP) for the Out-Board Stores Station Electronics (OBSSE) part number 174862-02-01 and ten (10) each for the Store Control Unit (SCU) part number 82371-01. Smith's Aerospace is the designer, developer, and integrator of the SCU and OBSSE Weapon Replaceable Assemblies. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-MAY-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
