- LINCOLN CITY, IN 47552-1816 - Provide sassafras or locust split rails. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NUMBER (RFQ): Q6400070100. NOTICE TO POTENTIAL QUOTERS - This is a 100% set aside for small business contractors. NAICS CODE: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 321113. SIZE STANDARD: The small business size standard is 500 employees. MAGNITUDE OF PROCUREMENT: Between $10,000 AND $50,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm-fixed price contract. PERFORMANCE: Performance consists of providing, delivering, and offloading a total quantity of 8,933 sassafras or locust split rails. Rails are to be 10.5 feet in length, 3 to 4 inch butts. A combination of sassafras and locust rails totaling 8,933 is acceptable. DELIVERY: Rails will be bundled and delivered in lots of 1,000 on various delivery dates between the contract award date (anticipated to be July 1, 2007) and November 30, 2007, as scheduled by the Park's Project Manager. DELIVERY LOCATION: All deliveries are to be made to Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, State Highway 162, Lincoln City, IN 47552-1816. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Performance period will be from the contract award date to November 30, 2007. PAYMENT: Payment to Contractor will be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). PUBLICIZING AND RESPONSE TIME: The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be issued on or about May 31, 2007 with a response date of not later than June 15, 2007. RFQ packages may be obtained via the internet by accessing the National Business (NBC) Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. THIS ELECTRONIC POSTING REPRESENTS THE ONLY FORMAL OFFERING. A PAPER COPY OF THE REQUEST FOR QUOTATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. ALL QUOTES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN HARD COPY. NO ELECTRONIC OFFERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
