- Complete roof tear-off and roof replacement on the visitor center itself (lower roof & upper roof) including, but not limited to, complete replacement of flashing, gutters, and downspouts. Existing lightning Protection system to be salvaged for reinstallation and Master UL Label Certification must be obtained on completed lightning protection system for the facilities. Work scope also includes demolition of existing upper portion building siding and providing new siding and stain/painting new siding, respectively on the existing Byrd Visitor Center building at Big Meadows developed area in Shenandoah National Park. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-MAY-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
