- Description
- The USDA Forest Service - Gifford Pinchot National Forest is soliciting prospective contractors for asphalt surface maintenance to be performed on roads located on the Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument and the Mt. Adams Ranger District. Work to be performed includes but is not limited to pothole patching, skin patching, crack sealing and surface cleaning. This project is partially funded under Title II of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act, involving special projects on Federal lands approved through the South Resource Advisory Committee (Skamania County). The contract issued as a result of this solicitation will be an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) construction contract. Minimum contract amount is $175,000.00. Maximum contract amount is $300,000.00. The period for issuance of task orders will be from date of contract award through September 30, 2007. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $31.0 million. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is May 30, 2007. A contract will be awarded to the offeror representing the best value to the Forest Services based upon; price; benefit to the economy of Skamania County; experience; and past performance. Prospective contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register below to receive notification of any postings concerning this project. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available at this internet site. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service.
