- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Micrographic Equipment Design, Inc. (MEDI), 8227 Cloverleaf Drive, Suite 304, Millersville, MD 21108, to provide maintenance and repair services for Cannon equipment located in the SSA Metro West Building Records Center in Baltimore, MD. The period of performance will be a base year and 2 (1) year options. The equipment includes (30) Canon MC60 Roll Carriers, (22) Canon MS500 Digital Microfilm Scanners, (23) Canon Fileprint 400 Laserjet Printers, (2) Canon CD4046 CDs, (2) Canon ED500 Endorsers, (23) Canon 100R Autocarriers, and (16) Canon MP60 Readable Printers. Services include: two (2) preventive maintenance visits for each twelve (12) month period of performance; unlimited remedial maintenance service calls; and all parts and labor. Technicians must be Canon certified. Companies that believe they are capable of meeting the requirements of SSA are invited to submit a bona fide capability statement to include documentation clearly demonstrating Canon certification to provide maintenance and repair. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the Agency shall issue a sole source award for maintenance and repair of the specified equipment to MEDI. This is NOT a Request for Quote and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Responses to this notice must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. EDT, May 10, 2007. Responses must be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to Phyllis Porter at phyllis.porter@ssa.gov.
