- The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, has a requirement for the above subject. This is not a Solicitation Announcement or a Request for Proposal and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified/certified, Service Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business, relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 237310. Your firm must be registered in the CCR u nder the above listed NAICS code in order to be considered for award. To make appropriate acquisitions for the above project, the Government, will use responses to this sources sought synopsis and possible future projects as determined to be in the best i nterest of the Government. The order of magnitude, for this effort is estimated to be between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This project will consist of construction of a new bridge with precast, prestressed concrete deck units and steel guardrail; st eel H-piling; cast-in-place reinforced concrete caps and wingwalls; roadway realignment and fill; asphalt surfacing; removal of existing bridge and roadway approaches and disposal of debris therefrom; channel excavation and placement of filter material and riprap; construction of field access ramp and roadside ditches; placement of barricades and signs; seeding; and environmental protection. The following information is requested: (1) Name of firm w/address, telephone, fax number, e-mail address, and point of contact. (2) State if your company is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. (3) State whether your firm can provide an Irrevocable Letter of Credit or a Payment Bond (100% of the contract amount). In order to qualifications your firm must have the capabilities to perform this services listed in this announcement. Responses to this source s sought synopsis shall indicate specialized experience and technical competence in the subject matter above and all other work associated with the general work requirement of this project. Evaluation(s) will consider overall experience. Also provide doc umentation for your firm on past performance as a prime contractor. Please provide any past performance on projects of similar nature. Submission Requirements: Firms submitting responses shall present their information in a matrix format showing contrac ts they have performed. The matrix shall show the most recent five projects that prove you can meet each qualification criteria listed above. It shall include contract number, project title and location, description of work, and a point of contact and te lephone number for each. Firms should also indicate all applicable personnel and sub-contractors proposed to work on the contract as well as a list of equipment. Firms who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be considered by the Government while making the acquisition decision for this sources sought announcement.
