- The US Army RDECOM Acquisition Center - Natick Contracting Division (NCD), in support of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical Biological Defense intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 230 4(c)(1) to Air Techniques International (ATI), Owings Mills, MD, a small business, for contractor logistics support of the JSMLT, to include: scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, overhaul, calibration, repair part inventory and management, operator manua l updates, and operator training package updates. ATI is the only source capable of performing this task on a timely basis as they are the current manufacturer of the JSMLT, and own the data package for the JSMLT. Additionally, the use of ATI would elimina te duplication of costs incurred for another contractor to obtain the knowledge and ability to perform this effort successfully.
