Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions, as supplemented with ad ditional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Proposal (RFP) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clause s are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 dated 22 March 2007. The awarded contract will be a Time and Material, Not to Exceed. It anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credi t Card. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237130 with a size standard of $31.0 Mil. All prospective Offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registrat ion. Offerors may register on line at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html . The award will be based on low price and technically acceptable. The quotation shall consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Quantity: 3, Unit of Issue: Each, D escription: Inspect, Certify and make repairs as required for 300 Foot Meteorological Towers. The Statement of Work/Specifications is available on the U.S. Army Contracting Agency Yuma Website: http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting. FAR 52.237-1 (Apr 1984) Site Visit will be conducted at the U. S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Bldg. 2100 in the Contracting Office Conference Room on 14 May 2007 at 9:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST). Each company is restricted to 2 attendees. Advise the Contracting Office at FA X: 928-328-6849 or to the below Point of Contact no later than COB 10 March 2007 if you plan to attend. Provide the name of the company being represented and the name, title and phone number or each attendee. Failure to visit the job site will not disquali fy an offer: however, the offeror acts at his own risk and will not be relieved from complying with the terms and conditions of any resultant contract by reason of such failure. All quotes shall be clearly marked with solicitation number W9124R-07-T-1062 a nd e-mailed or sent to the Point of Contact below not later than 21 May 2007 at 12:00 PM Noon Mountain Standard Time (MST).
