Description
Subject: Depot On-Site Contract Augmentee Teams Proposed Solicitation Number: FA8224-07-R-1001. NOTE: PREVIOUS SYNOPSIS AND PROGRAM INFORMATION HAS BEEN POSTED TO FBO UNDER REFERENCE NUMBER FA8224-06-R-CFTS. Opening/Closing Date: The draft RFP should post shortly after this synopsis. An industry day is scheduled for 22 and 23 May 2007 at Hill AFB, UT. We anticipate issuing the formal RFP on approximately 15 Jun 2007. The formal RFP release date is tentative only. The estimated date of contract award is 22 Oct 2007. Description: The DO-CAT program provides depot onsite contract augmentee teams to perform maintenance and related tasks at Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO- ALC) Utah and Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) in Tucson AZ. Representative tasks include the modification, maintenance, inspection, and repair of various weapons systems, related components, ground support equipment, and vehicles. The solicitation contemplates the award of up to three contracts (with up to two awards reserved for small businesses and one award under full and open competition). The government reserves the right to award more or less contracts or to a different small/large business mix if in the best interests of the government. A small business set-aside determination will be made at the task order level for each task order. The contract will contain time and materials, firm-fixed price, and cost reimbursable contract line items. Data will not be separately priced. Any contracts resulting from this solicitation shall be evaluated using Price Performance Trade-off (PPT) source selection procedures set forth is AFFARs 5315.3. The contract will be an IDIQ, with a minimum of $5,000.00 and a maximum for all contracts issued of $98 Million. (This value is a program maximum - each contract will have a stated maximum of $98 Million in the event that one awardee wins all of the work) Ordering period for the contracts is anticipated to be three years total, with each order being limited to one year of performance. The contracts will contain options for extension of service and term of the contract. All responsible sources who submit a proposal in accordance with the criteria set forth in the solicitation shall be considered with the exception that no foreign contractors will be allowed. The contract will contain a DD Form 254 which will describe security requirements. Any synopses, RFPs, amendments, etc. will be provided through the GPE at http://www.fedbizopps.gov .
