- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Grease Pumping Services for the Federal Correctional Institution in Phoenix, Arizona. The contractor will be required to provide grease pumping services from A.) (1) one approximately 1,700 gallon headwork and lift station. B.) (1) one approximately 1,000 auger monster grit chamber. C.) (1) one approximately 6,000 gallon trap. D.) (2) two approximately 2, 500 gallon traps. The contract type is firm, fixed price. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through September 30, 2007 and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 30 jobs; Option 1 - 86 jobs; Option 2 - 86 jobs; Option 3 - 86 jobs; Option 4 - 86 jobs. The solicitation will be available on or about May 14, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instruction to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipts of proposals is on or about May 30, 2007. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids equally with the other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
