- The U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development, Minnesota Field Office, intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis a contract with Metropolitan Council, St. Paul, MN, to furnish employee transit subsidy metropasses. HUD intends to award a one year firm fixed price contract with a one year contract extension option. Metropolitan Council is the only responsible source known that has satisfied the agency's requirements within the St. Paul-Minneapolis 9-county metropolitan area. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Interested persons seeking to challenge the sole source justification must present clear and convincing written evidence of their capability to provide the requirement including pricing. All information must be furnished at no cost to HUD. No contract will be awarded on the basis of responses received to this notice.
