- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has a requirement for new CISCO Network switching hardware due to a consolidation of DRMS and DLIS network server equipment at the HDI Federal Center, Battle Creek, Michigan. DLA is soliciting CISCO equipment and no other brands. The FAR 6.302-1 brand name justification and approval is included as part of this FEDBIZOPS announcement. This request for quotation (RFQ) is issued unrestricted. The required list of CISCO hardware is shown on the attached Microsoft EXCEL spreadsheet. Incidental installation services are not being solicited. The EXCEL spreadsheet appears in both the RFQ proper and in an unlocked stand-alone version for use by offerors in submitting their respective quotation. The offeror shall certify that is a manufacturer authorized Channel Partner as of the date of submission of their quotation and that the offeror has the certification or specialization level required by the equipment manufacturer to support both product sale and product pricing, in accordance with the applicable manufacturer certification or specialization requirements. Unless otherwise specified, the successful offeror shall warrant that the products are new, unused and in their original box. The successful offeror confirms to have sourced all manufacturer products tendered for acceptance from either the manufacturer or through manufacturers authorized channels. The offeror shall concurrently submit with its quotation a copy of its end user license agreement and shall warrant that all manufacturer software is licensed originally to the Government as the original licensee authorized to use the manufacturer?s software. No used equipment is available for trade-in. Inspection, Acceptance and F.O.B. is Destination, HDI Federal Center, 74 N. Washington Avenue, Battle Creek, Michigan 49017-3084. Standard commercial packaging to ensure safe arrival at destination. Required delivery date is 30 days after receipt of an executed order. This acquisition is conducted under FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Evaluation criteria for award is price. Date and time set for receipt of quotations is May 15, 2007 at 1: 00 p.m. Eastern Time.
