- Description
- The Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) Full Rate Production solicitation has been assigned RFP Number W911SR-07-R-0022. A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled to be conducted from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on 30 May 2007 at the Richlin Ball room, 1700 Van Bibber Road, Edgewood, MD 21040. Directions can be obtained at the Richlin website, http://www.richlincatering.com/. All firms interested in attending the conference should, not later than May 25, 2007, provide the company name and attendee names to the contract specialist, Mr. Jacob Chieffo, via email jacob.chieffo@us.army.mil or fax 410-306-3866. All questions and comments on the draft statement of work, CDRLs and performance specification that were posted to the Federal Business Opportunit ies page on April 26, 2007, should be submitted via email to Mr. Chieffo not later than May 23, 2007. During the conference, if time permits, the Government will attempt to provide answers to any questions received by the May 23rd date. Offerors will be pr ovided an opportunity to submit additional written questions during the conference. Answers to all questions submitted will be provided at a later date. The Government anticipates that the final RFP will be released in late June 2007. The final RFP will be conducted using a Multi-Phase Evaluation. Phase One will consist of the offerors Management Approach and Related Capability proposal. Phase Two proposals will not be evaluated if the offeror has failed to submit an acceptable Phase One proposal. Phase Tw o will consist of a comprehensive cost and technical proposal. Funding for this requirement is not yet available. However, in anticipation that funding will become available to support a Fiscal Year 2008 award, Phase One proposals will be due approximately 45 60 calendar days after issuance of the final RFP version. Phase Two proposals are currently expected to be due in late March 2008.
