- Description
- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release a request for proposal W91CRB-07-R-0040 on or about 21 May 2007 for Escalation of Force (EOF) Kits. This proposed procurement is Unrestricted, SIC 599 9 and the NAICS is 453998 with a size standard of $6,500,000.00. The acquisition is for an estimated procurement of 500 plus kits yearly under a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract(s). Kits being procured under this RFP incl ude Patrol Module, Communications Module and Checkpoint Augmentation Modules. Kits contain such items as portable bull horns, traffic cones, power flares, spot lights, safety vests, sirens, speed bumps, portable light sets, generators and other components . This request for proposal requires separate technical and cost proposals to be evaluated for award. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. All responsible sources may submit a pr oposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Large Business Firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan with their proposals. The Government reserves the right to award multiple contracts from this. The contract(s) will be awarded for a five (5) year base period. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is the Internet only. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format and free of charge. The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) wi ll be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard c opy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the potential offe rors responsibility to monitor the Army Single Face to Industry website on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract.
