- The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, Alpena Mi is soliciting contractors to provide an airfield manager service. Responsibilities include but not limited to: general situational awareness of airfield activities and overall responsible for Ai rfiled Operations. Serves as the Airfield Manager's representative during emergency situations. Assess airfield operations/situatiions, determines oeprational requirements and imposes airfield restrictiions as needed. Processes flight plans and other ai r traffic related data through the national and international air traffic systems. This position will require performance of military airspace coordination changes. Contdractor must be able to operate air traffic control type radios and landlines. Contr act employess shall have and be able to maintain a secret security clearance. Interested contractors may go to: http://nationalguardcontracting.org and download the solicitation, performance workstatement and wage determination. The solicitation shall be posted on or about 8 May 07 or contractors may request a copy of the solicitation from: tim.troxell@micrtc.ang.af.mil. A site survey is scheduled at the Alpena CRTC on Wednesday at 1:30pm.16 May 07.
