- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 (c)(2) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitiutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2V3FQ7121A200 is issued as an request for quote. The governments requirement is as follows: contractor shall supply and deliver to Macdill AFB one 1500 k VA 13.2kv/480Y transformer. The transformer shall meet the requirement of Section 16375 ? Electrical Distribution System, Underground. Contractor may furnish a new or refurbished transformer. The refurbished transformer shall have a minimum 3-year maintenance/replacement warranty. Firm delivery date to Macdill AFB - 30 July 2007. This requirement is a 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The closing date for submittal of quotes is 2 pm EST, 18 May 07.
