Description
This solicitation announcement is to notify interested parties of the FAA's intentions to procure the following Construction Services under a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910, with a size standard of $13M. Construction work shall include, all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to reconstruct, modify, extend, and repave parking lot "K" located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ 08405. The intent is to provide additional parking and to correct an existing deteriorated pavement condition. Estimated price range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Overall period of performance is 49 days from notice to proceed. A Firm-Fixed Price contract is contemplated. Performance Bonds (100%), and Payment Bonds (50%) of contract price are required after notification of award. Offeror's are required to attend a mandatory site visit to inspect the site where the work will be performed. The site visit has been scheduled for 17 May 2007; at 9:00 a.m., Participants will meet at the William J. Hughes Technical Center Security Operations Center, Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, 08405. Please notify the Contracting Officer by 2 PM EST, 15 May 2007, if your company intents to participate and attend the mandatory site visit. Security issues preclude the need for the FAA to be informed prior to contractor(s) arrival for badge and escorting requirements. Drawings will be handed out to site visit members only. Proposals will only be accepted from site visit attendees. All questions must be in writing (email) and submitted by 2 PM EST, 24 May 2007. All proposals are due by 2 PM EST, 30 May 2007.
