- Description
- ISSUE DATE: 5/24/07. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for Masonry Restoration and Repairs at U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT (New London County). The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of one year, with four (4) one year options. Individual task orders will be issued against the IDIQ contract. The work includes selective re-pointing of masonry surfaces (brick), selective re-pointing of joints in limestone, marble and concrete cornices, coping, belt courses and other architectural fa?ade features. The work also includes selective masonry cleaning (brick) in large areas, selective cleaning limestone, marble, granite and concrete surfaces and selective removal and replacement of damaged masonry units and face brick and incidental related work. The estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 based on the total value of the 5 year contract. The minimum delivery order under this contract will be $10,000. The issue date of the solicitation is 5/24/07. The bid opening date is scheduled for 6/27/07 at 2:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with Far Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 238140 and the size standard is $13 million.
