Description
Amendment 1: Questions & Answers. The purpose of the amendment is to answer questions that are attached. Period of performance: 07/22/2007 to 07/26/2007 1. IS WESTMINSTER, COLORADO TO BE THE LOCATION OF THIS EVENT? ANSWER: THIS IS THE PREFERRED LOCATION. 2. DOES THE HOTEL HAVE TO BE IN WESMINSTER, COLORADO? ANSWER: IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE IN WESTMINSTER BUT IT MUST MEET THE ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND MUST MEET THE NOTED DATES AND BE CLOSE TO THE OTHER SITES THAT THE BOARD WILL BE VISITING. 3. WHAT IS THE BUDGET FOR THIS EVENT? ANSWER: THE BUDGET IS BASED ON THE HOTEL MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS AS LISTED AT A FAIR AND REASONABLE PRICE. 4. WHAT, IF ANY, ARE THE MENU ITEMS? ANSWER: THE HOTEL MAY SUGGEST THE ITEMS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFASTS, BOXED LUNCHES AND THE DINNER. 5. OTHER THAN THOSE MENTIONED, WHAT ARE YOUR ADA REQUIREMENT? ANSWER: THE HOTEL MUST MEET THE ADA ACCESS REQUIREMENTS FOUND AT: http://www.ada.gov/reg3a.htm1#Anchor-11482. BOARD STAFF MUST HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A SITE VISIT TO THE HOTEL TO DETERMINE ITS COMPLAINCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS. 6. COULD YOUR CONFERENCE BE IN DOWNTOWN DENVER, CO? ANSWER: WE WOULD PREFER TO HOLD THE MEETING IN DOWNTOWN DENVER, HOWEVER THE ACCESS BOARD INVESTIGATED SEVERAL HOTELS DOWNTOWN AND THEY EITHER DID NOT HAVE THE DATES NEEDED OR DID NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED ACCESSIBILITY. 7. HOW FAR FROM WESTMINISTER, COLORADO CAN YOUR EVENT BE? CAN IT BE IN COLORADO SPRINGS? ANSWER: IT CAN'T BE FAR AT ALL. WESTMINISTER IS FAIRLY CLOSE TO DENVER AND CLOSER TO THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, THE SITE THE BOARD WILL BE VISITING. COLORADO SPRINGS IS TOO FAR FROM THE OTHER BOARD EVENTS AT THE MEETING. _____________________________________________________________ The Bureau of the Public Debt, Administrative Resource Center, on behalf of the United States Access Board has the need for meeting and conference space with accessibility requirements.
