- Description
- 1. Vessel(s) Required: U.S. or foreign flag self-sustaining RO/RO vesse(s)/Tug & Barge unit(s)or combination RO/RO - LO/LO vessel(s) or a Tug & Barge unit(s)with a ramp capacity of 30-tons to move approximately 27,157 square feet of cargo. Cargo consists of 47 containers on chassis(counted as one piece on cargo list),three containers without chassis, engineering equipment and wheeled vehicles totally 173 pieces; containers and chassis may be separated and stacked. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and Section IIIA.3 of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) (see 69 FEDERAL REGISTER 25166-25168, May 5, 2004, or most current reference), preference will be given to U.S. flag vessels and VISA participants. 2.
