- The National Park Service intends to issue a RFP- Request for Proposal for chemical and physical analysis of estuarine sediment, Southeast Coast Network Monitoring Program, for the analysis of up to 175 estuarine sediment samples; the samples will be collected from July 2007 to October 2010 and shipped to the contractor for analysis. The solicitation number is N2114070004, Request for Proposal, Commercial Items-Services, Far Part 12 and Far Part 15, through FAC 2005-09 will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 10, 2007 with proposals due on or about June 5, 2007. The NAICS code is 541380 Testing Laboratories and the associated size standard is $11 million. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The National Park Service intends to award a requirements contract with a base year and 4 option years. FAR Clause 52-212-2, Evaluation of Commerical Items applies to this solicitation. The following evaluation criteria arranged in their order of importance shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Capability to meet the Government requirement 2. Past Performance and 3. Cost or Price. Evaluation Factors other than cost or price are significantly more important than cost or price, however, as proposals become more equal in their technical merit, the evaluated cost or price becomes more important. Prospective Offerors must be registered at Center Contractor Registration site, www.ccr.gov and at https://orca.bpn. gov. All questions must be emailed to sonya_armstrong@nps.gov .
