- Description
- This is a sources sought announcement only seeking small business responses in order to determine small business participation in the acquisition. The Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) is seeking information that can provide the Army with in formation technology support. The work will be performed at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), to include but not limited to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (DCSOPS), and Defense Language Institute - Washington. DLIFLC, through its CIO and in coordination with the local DOIM (HQDA SDAP), is responsible for the management and oversight of the missions IT implementation to support language training for Department of Defense requir ements. This contract will provide Instructional Technology support for Multi-Media Language Labs (MMLL), Technology Enhanced Classroom v2 and v3 (TEC-2/ TEC-3), Language Resource Center Labs (LRC), Multi-Use Listening (MUL) Labs, Classroom XXI (CRXXI), t he CIO Hardware/Software Test Lab, VTT Classrooms, faculty office workstations, and Associated Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE). TEC-2/3 equipment currently includes over 700 classroom workstations and attached peripherals, 500 student laptop/Ta blet PCs and 1250 instructor workstations. Systems supported include MP3/iPod/Podcasting Server, Storage Area Network (SAN), Document and Records Management Systems, Commercial Database Systems for the Institute. Other types of support include: Knowled ge Management Office support services, Common Access Card Authentication, Warranty Support, Asset Management, Software Configuration Management, Hardware Configuration Management, Systems Configuration Management, business-hour call center for end user sup port of DLIFLC IT systems, end user access for incident reporting, operate a second-echelon IT repair facility, Security Technology Helpdesk (Separate & Secure barracks support), and support service System Administrator for the Defense Language Institute Washington (DLI-W) Office in Crystal City, VA. The designated NAICS code is 611630 for this effort, the size standard is $6.5 mil. Your response shall include the following: Size of company (i.e., 8(a), Hubzone, WOSB, SB, Veterans, all others). Your tot al revenue for the last three years, past performance on similar work dating back 3 years, your companys capabilities and innovative ideas for this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail f or the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition no more than 5 pages.
