- THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561622 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has a need for ?onsite? locksmith services on a ?time and material basis? at the NRC Headquarters location in Rockville, Maryland. The contractor must staff a minimum of 2 locksmiths that are certified by KABA-MAS to install, repair, and diagnose issues associated with X07, X08, and X09 high security electronic locks which are approved by the General Services Administration (GSA) and are in use at the NRC. The specific tasks to be performed, as well as terms and conditions will be addressed in the solicitation which will be issued on or about May 4, 2007 with a closing date of May 18, 2007. The Government anticipates the award of a Requirements-Type Purchase Order, utilizing FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The performance period will include a 24-month (2 year) contract. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this requirement will be made available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing this website and must respond to the solicitation requirements in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order. A written solicitation document is not available, telephone requests will not be honored, and a bidders list will not be maintained. To be eligible for award, interested parties MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry at www.ccr.gov.
