Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, CA intends to place a non-competitive, commercial contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with AMO USA Inc. This is a combined synopsis solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation, number N00244-07-T-0486 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). An electronic copy of this RFQ/synopsis can be accessed at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DCN 20070426 Edition. The NAICS code for this action is 423460 and the business size standard is 100E. See Note 22 The requirement is for a fixed price contract for CustomVue card (hyperopic/mixed astigmatism cards) for a Starr S4 Excimer Laser, Part Number: 030-4835-87. This is Standing Order contract for three months. Shipment schedule as follows: 25 pg ? 1 June 2007 25 pg ? 2 July 2007 25 pg ? 1 August 2007 Offeror must provide all the documents and quote in order to be considered for award. Interested parties must identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Submit a quote that include firm-fixed pricing, FOB point, delivery time, payment/discount terms, all applicable technical documentation and information required by the solicitation. The quote shall also provide a point of contact, name and phone number. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all statements of interest and capability received no later than 8 May 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
