- Description
- The Navy intends to procure on a sole source basis, various supplies to perform Secure Radio Upgrades from Motorola, Inc. 7031 Columbia Gateway Dr. 3 FL, Columbia, MD 21046-2289. The Radio upgrade is required to meet security needs. Motorola, Inc. is the only source which can provide an AES Encryption Upgrade, is proprietary to Motorola, and will only work in conjunction with the existing software within the currently fielded Motorola handheld and portable radios. The following items are required for the upgrade: 88 each T6797 PCMCIA Universal Crypto Module, 254 each CA00182AF AES Encryption Software for Astro Spectra, 115 each T6740 PCMCIA Universal Crypto Module Upgrade, 1,105 each CA00182AG AES Encryption Software for XTS5000, 504 each CA00182AJ AES Encryption Software for XTL5000, 37 each T6717 KVL 3000 Plus Hardware, 37 each CA00182AA AES Encryption Software, 37 each X423AE DES/DES-XL/DES-OFB Encryption, 29 each CA00843AA AES Encryption, 29 each T6757 KVL 3000 Plus AES Upgrade for KVL-3000 Plus, 2 each T6747 Multikey Operation, 3 each T6751 Multikey Operation, 2 each T6996 Multikey Operation, 3 each T7000 Multikey Operation, 5 each H869BN Multikey Upgrade for XTS5000, and 5 each W969 Multikey Upgrade for XTL5000. The required delivery for the above described upgrades will be thirty days after placement of order with delivery to NAWCAD, Webster Field, St. Inigoes, MD 20684. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit a response in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 9 May 2007, 1530 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. Facsimile responses are acceptable. No telephone responses will be accepted. *****
