- Sources are being sought that could assist in sound fund raising strategies for a National Foundation, newly established by Congress for the purpose of accepting contributions from private citizens and other private donors wishing to provide direct assistance to American Indian students attending schools managed by the United States Government. This national non-profit organization is governed by an 11 member board of directors that seek assistance in strategic planning and development of operations. Deliverables would include development of an integrated fund raising plan, annual giving initiatives, as well as a capital campaign, including detailed timetables and preliminary budgets, with a special emphasis on expanding the Foundation's level of support from individual major donors, leading philanthropists, corporations and charitable foundations.
