- Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA, has a requirement to establish a Heart Valve Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) inclusive of internal/external components. The Government intends to issue a Sole Source BPA to the Suggested Source: Edwa rds Lifesciences LLC, 1 Edwards Way, Irving CA 92614-5688. This requirement is unique to patient care and will be established for procurement of Various Medical Heart Valves on a as need basis. The contents of this Blanket Purchase Agreement are establis hed in support of the Military Healthcare Community. Heart Valve medical supplies are readily available in the commercial industry; however, it is essential that a physician utilize heart valve therapy medical supplies for which he/she is highly trained t o maximize medical risk to patients. Services ordered under the established BPA will be for a period of 5 Years or until the Government determines that a bona fide need no longer exist. This is not a request for quotation. However, vendors with similar or like Heart Valve medical supplies must submit technical capabilities inclusive of past performance information, delivery schedules and current price listings to be evaluated by the Governments Technical Representative for consideration of future requir ements.
