Description
The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to renovate an existing three story visiting airmen's quarters (Building 334) and provide an 8,000 square foot addition to house the Air Force Reser ve 926 wing due to the base realignment and closure commission recommendations as shown on the contract documents. The work consists of earthwork, sitework, concrete, precast concrete, masonry, steel, metals, steel studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, int erior finishes and painting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection system, doors, windows, and other items defined in the Contract Documents. The work also includes remediation of hazardous materials identified incuding asbestos, l ead based paint, PCB's, and incidental related work. This solicitation also contains option items. These items are 1) landscape and irrigation; 2) the interior finish out of the training area on the third floor of Building 334; 3) the interior finish out of the south office area on the third floor of Building 334; and 4) the interior finish out of the north office area on the third floor of Building 334. Estimated price range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. NAICS code is 236220. Size limitation is $31M. This solicitation is Full and Open and the basis for award is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable process. Proposals will be evaluated by the Government in accordance with the following criteria: Prime Contractor Experience, Prime Contractor P ast Performance and Past Performance on the Utilization of All Types of Small Businesses. The estimated issue date is 17 May 2007, with an approximate proposal due date of 17 July 2007 at 2pm Eastern time. A site visit will be held on 30 May 2007 at 9:00 am Pacific time.
