Description

The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSCDVAMC), 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio, 44106 anticipates soliciting sources and consequently awarding a contract for the construction project known as "Dietetics Kitchen Renovation" The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14 (SEALED BIDDING), 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and travel, to perform work according to contract drawings and as stated in the specifications or reasonably implied to renovate the Dietetics Kitchen Area. The location of the work will be at the above stated address. The period of performance shall be 450 days. Magnitude of construction is expected to be between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS Code: 236220 (31,000,000.00). The solicitation documents will be issued on or about Tuesday, May 14, 2007. At such time, information will be provided regarding the obtaining of plans and specifications. A Site Visit is planned for Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 12:30 PM EST . Interested parties will meet in the Engineering Department-Room E33 (Located in the basement area.) Only one site visit is planned. Bids will be due on or about Thursday, June 14, 2007, 10:00 AM EST. This notice is not a request for submission of offers.
