Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has a competitive requirement for Food Services, Maid and Linen Services and Central Desk Services in support of the CMEL Training Facility in Palm Coast Florida. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a Requirements s type contract with firm-fixed pricing consisting of a base year and 4 renewable 1-year option periods, if exercised. All offers are due by 3:30 p.m., Central Time, on 1 June 07. All offers must be submitted to DOT/FAA/MMAC, Bid and Proposal Officer, AMQ-100, Multi-Purpose Building, Room 313, 6500 South MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73169. Offers received after this date will be determined to be late and will not be considered for award, and the offer will be filed with the official award file. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Agency. All questions or comments shall be submitted in writing. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile at 405-954-3030, or via E-mail to: cynthia.cooper@faa.gov. Please reference DTFAAC-07-R-00017. Prospective offerors are invited and strongly encouraged to attend a pre-proposal conference and site visit to be held at the CMEL Training Facility in Palm Coast Florida. The pre-proposal conference will be held for the purpose of clarifying the requirement and permitting general discussions regarding this solicitation. The scheduled date for the conference is 11 May 07 beginning at 9:00 CST. Reservations will be confirmed within 3 days from receipt of offeror's notification of their intent to attend (RSVP). The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
