- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the United States Penitentiary/Federal Prison Camp/Federal Correctional Institution located in Pollock, Louisiana. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 60 days - Estimated Maximum 120 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 100 visits - Estimated Maximum 200 visits. The estimated quantities for Option Years are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 120 days - Estimated Maximum 240 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 200 visits - Estimated Maximum 400 visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about May 8, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about June 30, 2006. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
