- Description
- The National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) requires aerial photography and digital imagery services for one and two meter resolution, color and color infrared imagery, with ortho rectification services and related metadata files. Imagery acquisition may be accomplished either by traditional aerial photography, 6 inch (153mm) camera focal length, 9"x9" format aerial cameras, or photogrammetric quality digital cameras. Deliverables include compressed county mosaics due no later than 30 days after flying season end, and full resolution digital ortho quarter quadrangle tiles 45 days after flying season end, with all other associated files and materials. Approximately 2.6 million square miles of imagery nationwide are required annually to be flown during the peak agricultural growing season typically June through August. This solicitation will result in a multiple year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract that may contain optional award items. Solicitation (RFP)USDA-NAIP-3-07 will be issued on or about February 16, 2007, with proposals due on or before March 21, 2007. The solicitation will be issued under FAR Part 15 as full and open competition procurements which will include the provisions Buy American Act (FAR 52.225-2) and Small Business Subcontracting Plan (FAR 52.219-9). This solicitation is subject to the Availability of Funds Clause (FAR 52.232-18). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
