- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for the services of a contractor to provide technical assistance in support of the Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) Program. The WIPA Program provides work incentive planning, assistance, and outreach services to SSA beneficiaries receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) based on disability or blindness seeking employment in all States, the District of Columbia, and US territories. In order to provide the WIPA Program with the necessary knowledge and tools to disseminate accurate information about work incentive programs to beneficiaries with disabilities, SSA is issuing a solicitation for a contractor to provide technical assistance to the program for a period of 5 weeks. SSA anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed-price purchase order in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. Solicitation number SSA-RFQ-07-1432 is available for downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov. Requests for hard copies will not be honored.
