- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase on a sole source basis Icebreaker Machinery Control and Monitoring System (MCAMS) Ada 83 and Opto 22 software support, logistical, and material support for the Coast Guard, which is proprietary as support is not available from any other Coast Guard approved manufacturer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330, $4.5 million standard business size standard. The order shall be a fi rm fixed order. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized in this procurement. FOB Destination CDSA, Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA shall apply. Offer is due 2:00 PM, EDST, 4 May 2007 with award to be made on 4 May 2007. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
