- With this announcement, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issues a pre-solicitation notice for furnishing and installing an Intellikey locking system. The contract includes furnishing and installing Intellikey locking systems at up to ten (10) U.S. A rmy Reserve Centers in New England. Installation will require removing all existing hardware necessary for installation of the new locking systems. The majority of the products required are to be Intellikey. The facilities where Intellikey locking syste ms are required are located in the following towns/cities: Providence, RI, Lincoln, RI, Colchester, VT, Keene, NH, Londonderry, NH, Danvers, MA, and Worcester, MA. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns. The solicitation shall be made available via the Internet on or about 16 May 2007. To download the solicitation, prospective contractors shall register with and download the solicitation fro m www.fedteds.gov. Registration instructions are available at this website. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor faxed requests for solicitation documents will be accepted. The NAICS code for the work is 423610 with a size standard of 100 employees. The size standard for a non-manufacturer is 500 employees. All responsible Small Business concerns may submit a quote, which will be considered by the New England District.
