- The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia is submitting this amendment to the synopsis for establishing Multiple Award Task Order Contracts for Construction Services to include some design/build capabilities at the task ord er level. Originally this synopsis advertised for both Fort Jackson, SC, and Fort Gordon, GA. The requirement has been changed to only cover the area of Fort Gordon, Georgia. This requirement will only be for construction services to possibly incorporat e design/build capabilities when the need arises. All reference to A&E Services has been removed. The Southern Region Contracting Center-East intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) W911SE-07-R-0015 for one suite of Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Task Order Contracts, MATOCs. The requirement at Fort Gordon includes Lake Thurmond located in Leah, GA. The suite will result in awards of no less than three contracts to contractors that fall into the Small Business Categories of HUBzone concerns. Typical projects for Ft. Gordon, GA, include a wide variety of maintenance, repair, replacement, renovation, minor construction (including asbestos and lead-base paint abatement), restoration or modernization of a wide variety of facilities, and tasks to include, but not limited to planning, design and installation/construction of the following systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, building envelope, fire protection, anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) , or total renovation. Upon receipt of a Task Order, the Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, parts (to include system components), supervision, equipment, and related services (except when specified as Government furnished), to perfor m the work as specified. The awarded contracts will consist of a Base Period of twelve (12) months with four 12 month Option Periods. Total contract period, to include all options, shall not exceed five calendar years. The applicable North American Indu stry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. The Small business size standard is $31,000,000.00 annual receipts for the past three years. Task orders for Fort Gordon will range in price from $2,000.00 to $3,000,000.00. The minimum guarantee for t he base year is $10,000.00. The overall total magnitude for this requirement to include all Task orders awarded is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00 over the five-year period. The Government intends to award a suite consisting of no less than t hree individual MATOC contracts, providing a sufficient number of qualified contractor proposals are received. Awards will be made to those offerors, who submit proposals that are Technically Acceptable with a fair and reasonable price. A scheduled site v isit for this requirement will be announced in the solicitation package. A test scenario will be used for pricing purposes. This RFP will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 11 May 2007 on Army Single Face to Industry ( ASFI) or Federal Business Opportunities, FedBizOps, websites.
