Description

PURCHASE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT: Under authority 41 U.S.C. 253©(1), the Government intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with ACIST Medical System, Eden Prairie, MN, to upgrade existing equipment with the newer Model ACIST CVi System to be used in the Cath Lab of the NF/SG VHS in Gainesville, FL. NAICS code 339112 applies to this procurement. This contract action is for equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 (b) (4) only one responsible source and no other equipment or training will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquistion Procedures of FAR Part 13 in accordance with the Commercial Item Acquisition Format of FAR Part 12. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to this requirement or to submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before May 3, 2007, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
