Description
Sources Sought Notice, Classification Code R - Prior to this notice an original combined/solicitation notice was posted and subsequently cancelled under DJMS-07-Q-0017, and re-issued, and postponed under DJMS-07-Q-0021. This Sources Sought Notice changes the response date to May 10, 2007. As appropriate; after the closing date of this Sources Sought Notice, the site visit and closing date for the solicitation will be re-established. The Department of Justice (DOJ)), Joint Prisoner Alien Transportation System (JPATS) is developing an acquisition strategy for a 3-year requirement (base with 2 option years) follow-on contract for the Operation and Maintenance Services for the U.S. Marshals Service Hangar and Office Facilities in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At this time, information only from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVSB) need respond. As part of this process we are seeking information through what will be on a subsequent modification, as an attached Sources Sought Market Research Questionnaire about SDVSB that are capable of performing the work; note that the approximate square footage of the facility will be broken down in question 2 of the questionnaire, and the cost of the previous 3-year contract was approximately $425,652.00. This Market research is being conducted for informational purposes only, and it is not a request for proposals. No associated reimbursement of costs will be made for responding to this announcement, and no telephone calls about this announcement will be accepted or acknowledged. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990, Building and Property Specialty Trade Services, Size Standard $13 Million. Respondents to this announcement must provide detailed and concise information that will be asked on the Market Research Questionnaire about the company?s qualifications and experience within the past 5 years for similar contracts with commercial entities, federal, state or local governments in support of services similar to the ones that will be described within question 3 of the questionnaire. Also, as will be requested in question 5 of the questionnaire; for sampling verification, responses shall include a list of up to 3 such projects. Project information must include the contract number, dollar value, period of performance, current status and current point of contact information including names, addresses, and e-mail addresses. All interested sources must submit their responses electronically to the point of contact; Mark Melendez by the close of business, 4:00 CDT, May 10, 2007.
