- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation, materials and other incidentals necessary for the complete rehabilitation of Rock Creek Bathhouse. Project includes architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical work for the rehabilitation of existing 1940?s era bathhouse of approximately 1625 SF at Rock Creek Recreation Area. Work includes but is not limited to demolition, concrete work, metal fabrications, carpentry, windows, doors and hardware, tile, painting, toilet and bath accessories, plumbing, ventilation system, and building electrical and service. If funds are available, work includes roofing, wood wall finish in concession area, concrete walkway and landscape plants/installation. Some materials are Government-furnished. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: between $100,000.and $250,000. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located at Rock Creek Recreation Area, Nolichucky/Unaka Ranger District, Unicoi County, Erwin, Tennessee. Directions to the location from Johnson City, TN: Take I-26 east to Exit 19, go east towards Erwin, TN. Turn right at the light onto Main Avenue. Go approx. 0.5 miles and turn left at the light onto TN 395. Travel approx. 3.0 miles east and the entrance to Rock Creek Campground is on the left. Follow the entrance road to the wooden bathhouse adjacent to the parking lot. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-07-0012 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading on or about May 15, 2007 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Bid visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database(CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Information is available at the site including how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are also required to be registered with the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration may be completed by going to http://www.bpn.gov and clicking on ?Online Reps and Certs Application?. You must be active in CCR and have an MPIN from that active record to begin ORCA registration. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Intrested Vendor. The Interested Vendor?s List will be the only Bidder?s List maintained for this procurement.
