- Description
- The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain services of a Type III helicopter fully operated by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications for use in administration and protection of Public Lands. The aircraft base of operations will be Pangborne Field, located in East Wenatchee, Washington. The aircraft will primarily be utilzed as a Helitack Platform. The awarded contract will be for one base year with two renewable options. During the Mandatory Availability Period (60 Days - July 2 thorugh August 30th of each year) and any extensions thereof, the aircraft will be made available for the exclusive use of the Government. The helicopter furnished will be used for fire initial attack and support missions and for other administrative flights as assigned. It may also be used for law enforcement flights
