Description
A Request for Proposal in electronic format only will be available for download on or about May 7, 2007 on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website in electronic format at https://www.fedteds.gov/ Once the solicitation is posted in Fed TeDS, a link to the solicitation will be provided on this web site at www.fbo.gov In order to view the solicitation, interested firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/ and in FedTeDS. No disks shall be mai led. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a size standard of $31.0 million in average annual receipts. The government intends to award up to three indefinite delivery contracts with a contract amount of $20,000,00 0 over three years. The contract amount of $20,000,000.00 will be shared by the successful offeror(s). There will be a minimum guarantee amount for each year; however some years may have little to no work depending on project design schedules and funding streams. There is no specific task order limit except the limit of the contract(s). Contracts may be awarded concurrently or may be staggered at two (2) to six (6) month intervals. The first contract award is anticipated for the late 3rd quarter or ear ly 4th quarter of FY 2007 (Jun  July 2007). The solicitation shall be issued as a competitive total small business set-aside per FAR 19.5  Set-Asides for Small Businesses. The award will be based on Best Value in accordance with FAR Part 15. The gover nment shall not be responsible for proposal preparation costs. To receive award contractors must be registered in the CCR at www.ccr.gov The requirement for the submission of both performance and payment bonds, in an amount equivalent to 100% of the awar d price may be requested on individual Task Orders in accordance with FAR 52.228-15; therefore, the successful firm shall have the capability to acquire such bonding. The Davis-Bacon Act will apply. Joint ventures must also be registered in CCR as a join t venture. We advise contractors begin this process as soon as possible. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Provide quick response to repairs, renovations, and small construction on Civil Work projects anywhere within the State of Alaska. Civil Work projects may inc lude work on harbors, breakwaters, erosion protection, small dredging projects (less than 50,000 CY), recreational areas, and support facilities (small buildings, utilities, roads, culverts, bridges, etc.). Projects may include the purchase and/or the qua rrying of rock. Such work may require the ability to quarry or purchase rock and transport it to the projects.
