- HALLS AND WALLS BLDG 47 PROJECT 637-07-104 PREVIOUS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE VA24607RP0075 IS CANCELLED AND REPLACED BY VA24607RP0102 STATEMENT OF WORK The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to perform maintenance work as described with construction drawings and specifications. The work will be performed at various sites in accordance with professionally developed drawings and specifications as well as OHSA and EPA requirements. The work may include, but not limited to replacing existing architectural finishes. Work will include removing existing finishes such as acrovyn plastic wall covering, wallpaper, vinyl composition tile, and acoustic grid and ceilings. Demolition will include hanging plastic dust barrier walls and wet sanding all surfaces to receive new finish. New work will include installing new 2' X 2' acoustic ceiling and grid, new 4'X4' fluorescent lights, new paint in walls, new handrails and bumper guards, and new vinyl flooring. VCT flooring to be removed may contain asbestos and will need to be removed under monitored circumstances. All work will be in accordance with professionally developed drawings and specifications.   Place of Performance: Tasks will be performed at the VAMC Asheville, NC. Location of work includes (but not limited to) Ward 3E, Ward 3W, and elevator lobbies on 6 floors. Work will be around an occupied healthcare facility in operation 24 hours a day and care will be taken to keep work areas clean and contained. Work shall be completed within 210 days of the Notice to Proceed being issued. The NACIS code is 23522 with a small business size standard of $31M. This procurement is 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-aside. The cost range is between $150,000 and $200,000. The solicitation will be available for download at the Federal Business Opportunity website on or about April 23, 2007. Bidders are responsible for downloading any and all documents pertaining to this solicitation from the website. Paper solicitations will not be issued.
