- Description
- Provide and install new doors, provide structural improvements, and provide painting or vinyl siding upgrades to multiple Research Equipment Storage Buildings, at the USDA, U.S. Sheep Experiment Station, in Dubois, ID. There are seven buildings in the base contract; eight buildings are listed as Option Items. Contractor is responsible for removal of existing doors and installation of new doors. Contractor is responsible for accurate measurements. All of the doors (4 ft. metal doors and overhead doors) require some framing work (metal door have metal frame), including thresholds. All of the 4 ft. doors shall have lever door knobs and two keys to lock the door knob. All of the overhead doors shall have new rails, springs, rollers, etc. The doors shall be 24 gauge metal, no windows (unless otherwise stated), non-insulated (unless otherwise stated), manually openable and closeable and have inside slide bar locks. Specifications for painting and vinyl sided are also provided. The estimated price range including option items is between $100,000 and $250,000.
