Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Due to constraints of the Fedbizopps system, no documents can be attached to posted combination synopsis/solicitations. In response to this, all interested parties MUST contact Bryson Jo @ bryson.jo@hickam.af.mil NO LATER THAN 24 Apr 2007 to recieve a copy of the attachments for this requirement. Attachments include (1) Statement of Work (SOW) and (2) Building Specifications. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2CFE7087A100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 2007-0314 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2007-0327. For informational purposes the North American Industry Classification System code is 238210 – ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract that represents the best value to the government and best shipping time. Contract will consist of one (1) line item. CLIN 0001 – Equipment and Materials for Audio/Video Display System for Hangar 5 at Hickam AFB, HI in accordance with Attachment 1: SOW and Attachment 2: Building Specifications. Quantity: 1 CLIN 0002: Design and Installation of Audio/Video Display System for Hangar 5 at Hickam AFB, HI. Contractor is required to provide a proposed technical solution that meets the requirements in accordance with Attachment 1: SOW and Attachment 2: Building Specifications. Desired installation start date: 15 May 2007. Contractor is required to provide a delivery/installation schedule in regards to meeting the proposed installation start date. Quantity: 1 CLIN 0003: Training for use of installed Equipment and Material listed in and in accordance with Attachment 1: SOW and Attachment 2: Building Specifications. Quantity: 1 CLIN 0004: Shipping Costs associated with delivery of Materials & Equipment associated with CLIN 0001. Quantity: 1 This requirement is for the item described above or comparable. Offerors responding to this requirement must include a specification data sheet on proposed item(s) offered. Offeror may propose an alternate proposal if offering more than one solution. This is a best-value procurement. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offeror must ensure the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2006) (this must be completed on http://orca.bpn.gov), DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 2005), and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance Payment Program Certificate (Jun 2005) is included with the quotation.
