- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Buckley AFB, CO to obtain the Non-Personal Service of a Protestant Religious Education (RE) Coordinator. The RE Coordinator must meet qualifications in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Required services are commercial in nature, therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items shall apply to this acquisition. The government will provide all necessary equipment, supplies and materials mutually agreed upon for the fulfillment of this contract. The Protestant RE Coordinator shall provide quality RE starting with Nursery and continuing through grades preschool-12 and assist the Senior Protestant Chaplain with administrative duties and Adult RE, ensuring that the Protestant Education program meets customer needs and complies with legal and regulatory requirements. He/she is responsible for the Protestant RE Program by carrying out all related duties following applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), 460th Space Wing/Headquarters Chapel (460th SW/HC), regulations and policies. The contract performance period is from 10 April 2007 to 9 April 2008. North American Industrial Classification System Code 813110 and size standard of $6.5 million. Numbered Note 1.
